See advisory program.
The purpose of this program is to obtain real work experience while reflecting upon students’ observations and growth throughout the course of the semester. By the end of the year students will have a better idea of the kind of place they might want to work in the future as well as an impressive addition to their resumes. In addition to reporting to internship placements twice a week, we will meet as a class once a week to share our experiences with one another and discuss other common work-related issues. Students will be required to keep a weekly journal, write resumes and cover letters, and give a formal presentation at the end of the year.
Peer Leadership is a development and training module for ElRo Sibs. Seniors who are ElRo Sibs support freshman transition into high school through leading advisory activities, providing one-on-one mentoring, and developing academic and social resources. Interested students are interviewed in the spring of their junior year.
