Landry, R.
Mr. Landry was born and raised in Brooklyn and attended N.Y.C. schools. He has been a teacher since 1977; with the New York City school system since 1982; at Roosevelt since the building opening in 2003. Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Landry was the staff developer and Director of Mathematics for the Chancellor's High School District for the Bronx and Brooklyn. In this position, he worked with teachers at schools that were below the New York State standards in mathematics in order to help the schools meet the state standards and also taught at Taft in the Bronx and Eastern District in Brooklyn.

Mr. Landry did undergraduate study at Columbia and graduate study at City having met the requirements to teach mathematics, history, general science, and Latin.
He teaches mathematics, history, and Advanced Placement Economics at Roosevelt. He lives on East 84th Street.
