Duke, Dina
Dina Duke (formerly Persampire) earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fashion Institute of Technology in 1990. After nearly 15 years in Creative Services and Product Development in the Home Furnishings Industry, she received a NYC Teaching Fellowship and completed her Master of Science Degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities from Pace University followed by additional coursework in Adolescent Literacy at Hunter College.

Ms. Duke enthusiastically joined the staff at Eleanor Roosevelt 2015 where she has been teaching English, Writing, History and acting as the Yearbook Advisor. Prior to ERHS, she spent ten years teaching and providing instructional support services in a variety of subjects at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis HS in Manhattan.

Outside of school, Ms. Duke is an avid Mets and Giants fan who enjoys watching games and spending time with her cat, family, friends and dogs outdoors on the east end of Long Island. She can be found reading on the beach, riding her bike, or out on the water on her stand-up paddle board.
